The Ansell Prism - The Latest in Domestic Fire-Rated Downlighting

Ansell Lighting's latest addition to their domestic Indoor Lighting range is the new Prism LED Fire-Rated downlight. The downlight is dimmable and features an intumescent fire barrier that has been fully tested for 30, 60 and 90 minute fire rated ceiling types to fully comply with Part B of the Building Regulations. As well as being fire rated, this new fitting has also been fully tested to meet Part C (moisture) and Part E (acoustic) of the Building Regulations.

 

 

As standard, the Prism is supplied with a white trim bezel with optional Chrome and Satin Chrome trim bezels also being available. This fitting is manufactured with an integral driver with push-fit loop in, loop out terminals for an easy, fast and tool-less installation. The Prism has been tested with a selection of existing dimmers, check out the table below for the maximum number of fittings they support:

The Prism has a wide 60° beam angle and increased light distribution courtesy of a precision engineered reflector that is specifically designed to enhance light distribution. This fitting provides a fit-and-forget solution with an LED lifespan to L70 of approximately 40,000 hours. For your peace of mind, this fitting also comes with a 5 year warranty.
