Eglo Connect – it’s time to show your true colours

06 February 2020

Eglo Connect at the Electrical Counter

Now available at the Electrical Counter is the Eglo Connect smart lighting range.

With Eglo Connect, you can benefit from ease of use, a quick and simple installation and you won't need to purchase loads of expensive additional equipment either.

What is Eglo Connect?

The Eglo Connect lighting system allows you to control and program the lights in your home individually. You can connect to the fittings via the Connect remote control, or the free AwoX Smart Control App, available on both Google Play and the Apple App store.

Eglo Connect and the app allows you to choose from an impressive range of colours and whites, and you can dim the brightness smoothly to create your perfect ambience.

What are the benefits?

If you opt for Eglo Connect as your smart lighting solution, you can benefit from a user-friendly operation, remote control or App control (the app works across phones, tablets and even some smartwatches!), a quick and easy installation, and there's no need to purchase expensive hub devices. The fittings run on Bluetooth too - so you don't even need an internet connection to control your light fittings.

Control by remote

Eglo's remote control allows quick and easy control of your luminaires. With the remote, you can choose from a huge range of colours and whites, plus programming two favourites. The remote control also allows you to smoothly dim various Eglo Connect compatible products.

It's all about the app

The handy Smart Control app by AwoX allows you to control all your Eglo Connect products easily across multiple devices including smartphones, tablets and some smartwatches. The app is downloadable on both Android and iOS devices via their respective stores.

With the app, you can control and set up scenarios, groups of luminaires and assign names and images to the products to help you easily identify each fitting. The app allows you to quickly customise your lighting to create your perfect environment.

The fact that the light fittings run on Bluetooth means that the only internet connection you need is to install the app and complete the intial registration.

Eglo Connect sensor

If you need greater flexibility and functionality, you can add extras into your smart lighting set up.

The Eglo Connect PIR sensor offers a choice of functions including movement detection. When movement is detected, the relevant lighting will be switched on to the set light intensity, meaning there's no need for you to be stumbling in the dark. The handy sensor is battery operated, meaning no cabling is necessary for set up and the sensor is suitable for mounting directly onto a wall.

Whatever lighting effect you are looking to create, you can achieve your dreams with the Eglo Connect range. Need help? Get in touch with our friendly team today.
